Anzac Day 2026 Dawn Service

The ANZAC Day Dawn Service will commence at 5:30am this year, aligning with the rising of the sun.

The service will be held at Memorial Park Burleigh Heads, located at the corner of Connor Street and Gold Coast Highway.

Veterans are requested to assemble at 5:15am adjacent to the Burleigh Heads Bowls Club. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and participate in this important act of commemoration.

It is a moment for quiet reflection, remembrance, and respect, as communities across the nation gather in the early hours to honour those who have given their lives, as well as those who continue to serve. The rising sun symbolises renewal and hope, underscoring the enduring legacy of the ANZAC spirit—courage, mateship, and sacrifice—which remains central to Australia’s national identity today.
