December 7 2016 was the day of the Burleigh Heads Annual Christmas Party which was held at Mowbray Park SLSC, Burleigh Heads. It was a great day with everyone enjoying themselves. There was a prize draw for Christmas Hampers going to a number of lucky ladies. Special guest was Mr. Ashley Heritage who kindly donated the beverages for the day, thanks again.The gathering was addressed by Burleigh Heads RSL Sub Branch President Mr. Craig McKenzie who thanked the event organiser Mr. John Beacham who did a good job in selecting the dinner menu and this proved to be a special meal enjoyed by all. Craig also wished all those present a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thanked the Committee for their efforts over the year. Well done Craig………
Thanks also to the staff and helpers at Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park SLSC for their friendly and professional service (with a smile). Always a great day at Mowbray Park SLSC.
All in all it was a great day and a fitting finish for the year. The next event on the Calendar is the 78th Anniversary Social.
