Burleigh to Iluka/Yamba Bus trip – 9 March 2018

A well organised bus trip with Terry’s Bus Lines to Iluka NSW on Friday 9 March 2018 from the RSL Hall commencing at 7.30 am and returning at about 6.00pm. The bus trip was organised by Neville and 20 members and partners came along. A generous morning tea was provided at Brunswick Heads and then off to Iluka where lunch awaited. The weather was slightly inclement however we managed to dodge the showers. After a leisurely lunch we all boarded the local passenger ferry (MV Mirigini) from Iluka across the Clarence River to Yamba to the South which took 45 minutes and the coach met us on the other side. After a short stop it was back on the bus and heading North towards home. Terry and his willing staff provided informative information along the trip and after what seemed a short time we were stopping at Chinderah for a comfort stop. A few local drops on the way home and we all disembarked from where we commenced near the RSL Hall. During the day a number of members commented positively on the trip and what great ‘value for money’ it was. Terry’s Bus Lines are a very professional outfit and apart from the ongoing roadworks the trip went off without a hitch. Well done to Terry and his crew!IMG_5625 IMG_5624 IMG_5623 IMG_5622 IMG_5621 IMG_5620 IMG_5619 IMG_5618 IMG_5617 IMG_5616 IMG_5615 IMG_5614 IMG_5613 IMG_5612 IMG_5611 IMG_5610 IMG_5609 IMG_5608 IMG_8133
